This painting is one of those that reminds me to breathe. . . It points to a sweet, spiritual rest: the rest of trusting that God created us uniquely and individually out of love and that He has a plan for us.

Dreams are indeed a great reminder of the mystical aspect of our lives. (That we experience a beautiful and wisdom-laden phenomena we can't fully explain.) My process of painting is somewhat like a dream, as I like to let the imagery emerge on it's own, and I just help refine it. In this way I believe each painting carries a highly personalized message for every person who looks at it.
